Sunray Petroleum Company was founded on real-world experience in the convenience store and fuel retail industry. At just 20 years old, our founder, Henry, began his career as an independent convenience store owner in New Jersey. Over time, he expanded his operations by acquiring and managing multiple stores across the Northeastern United States, gaining first-hand knowledge of every aspect of the business—from fuel sales and inventory management to staffing, accounting, and daily operations.
Driven by growth and opportunity, Henry later expanded into North and South Carolina, acquiring a chain of convenience stores now known as Save More, a company that has proudly served its communities since 1989. This hands-on background continues to shape SunRay Petroleum’s practical, retailer-focused approach today.

In 2019, Sunray Petroleum Company reached a major milestone by becoming a petroleum jobber. Through a strategic partnership with Exxon, we expanded our services to include complete fuel branding transitions, new equipment installations, and comprehensive support throughout the rebranding process.
Today, Sunray Petroleum proudly supports more than 200 fuel and convenience store locations across the Southeastern United States.
